Chapter 13 - The Golden Gamble

Dayal sat in his small room, but he didn't feel like a poor man anymore. On his bed lay the winning lottery ticket worth 10 Million Rupees. To the world, it was just luck, but Dayal knew it was the power of his God-Level Luck System.

The blue screen appeared again:

[New Mission: Start your Empire.]

[Target: Visit the office of 'Future Tech'.]

[Reward: 2,000 Gold Coins & 'Leader's Aura' Skill.]

Dayal dressed in the best clothes he owned. He didn't look like a janitor today. He looked like a young businessman. He headed straight to the city's business district.

The Falling Star

Future Tech was a small company in a dusty building. They were famous for trying to build "Wireless Electricity," but everyone laughed at them. Their stock price had dropped to almost zero. The bank was ready to shut them down today.

When Dayal entered, he saw a young woman crying at her desk. She was Riya, the CEO of the company.

"Is there anyone who can help?" she whispered.

Dayal walked up to her and placed his lottery check on the table. "I want to buy 50% of your company right now," Dayal said firmly.

Riya looked at him in shock. "But... we are failing! Why would you throw your money away?"

Dayal smiled. His 'Lucky Insight' was glowing bright green. It told him that in exactly 48 hours, their experiment would finally succeed.

"I don't see a failure," Dayal said. "I see a gold mine."

The Power of the System

As soon as Dayal signed the papers, the System roared:

[Mission Complete!]

[Title Gained: 'Angel Investor'.]

[Luck Multiplier Active: All company research speed increased by 500%!]

Suddenly, the scientists in the back room started shouting. "It's working! Riya, the energy is stable! We did it!"

Riya couldn't believe her eyes. The invention they had struggled with for years was suddenly perfect. She looked at Dayal as if he were a god. "Who are you? How did you know?"

Dayal just adjusted his collar. "I'm just a man with a very good feeling about the future."

The First Enemy Appears

While Dayal was leaving the building, a black luxury car stopped in front of him. A middle-aged man with a mean face stepped out. It was Mr. Khanna, the man who owned the office where Dayal used to sweep the floors.

"Hey! Aren't you that janitor boy?" Khanna laughed loudly. "What are you doing here? Did you come to clean the toilets of this dying company?"

Dayal looked Khanna in the eye. He didn't feel afraid. "Mr. Khanna, I used to clean your floors. But very soon, I might just buy your whole building."

Khanna turned red with anger. "You brat! How dare you! You will pay for this insult!"

Dayal walked away, laughing. His 'Danger Sense' was quiet. He knew Khanna couldn't touch him. With 999,999+ Luck, the world was now his playground.
