And I just remembered that was the day Selene was hosting her tea party. Damn it!

While I held my head against my palms clearly indicating of a headache, on the other hand, Mary let out a huge, high-pitched gasp, her hands flying over her mouth as her romantic, soap-opera-loving brain instantly started to conjure the wildest, most imaginative scenarios of what could happen between a handsome prince and a noble lady at midnight.

The exact kind of dramatic clichés she had heard the older maids whisper about during several noble tea parties.

"Oh, my lady! A midnight walk under the royal moonlight... It's exactly like a fairy tale! You must wear your finest gown!" Mary squealed softly, her eyes practically sparkling in the dim room. 

I could only look back down at the letter, my heart beginning to pound with a frantic, familiar rhythm.
