When Landon Hawthorne woke up, he was completely disoriented.
'Wasn't I in the suburbs, sleeping in my car?'
'Why am I in a house?'
'And this isn't my room, either.'
'Where am I?'
He scrambled out of bed and left the room, seeing Uncle Shaw as soon as he got downstairs.
"Mr. Hawthorne, you're awake. Assistant Tate has already brought you a change of clothes." Uncle Shaw immediately had a maid hand the clothes to Landon Hawthorne.
Landon Hawthorne was utterly baffled. "Why am I here?"
"Miss Sterling brought you back, Mr. Hawthorne. It was nearly two in the morning," Uncle Shaw answered truthfully.
Upon hearing that Aria Sterling had returned, a delighted expression appeared on Landon Hawthorne's face. "Where is Aria Sterling? I need to talk to her about something."
