"You'll know in a moment."
Just as they were speaking, a sharply dressed, middle-aged man in a hat arrived. He took the hat off upon seeing them.
"Hello, Director. Hello, Miss Lowell."
The middle-aged man greeted them both.
Rosalind Lowell took a closer look. The man before her was kind and affable, and there was something warm and familiar about him.
She asked blankly, "Have we met before?"
Both the director and the middle-aged man were a little shocked. The director was the first to recover and made the introduction, "Miss Lowell, this is Mr. Dalton, an excellent and talented businessman I met while living abroad."
Rosalind Lowell nodded. "Hello, Mr. Dalton."
The director nodded and continued, "Mr. Dalton approached me about collaborating with you on a commercial."
Rosalind Lowell looked toward Shirley Dalton.
