"Let Opal out," Spencer said to the person beside him.
Opal was released, and Crystal called out affectionately, "Daddy!"
Rosalind Lowell could clearly see that Alaric Davenport was jealous. All she could do was explain, "In Crystal's mind, 'Daddy' is one person, and 'Papa' is another."
Alaric Davenport just gave a slight nod.
Opal first went to Spencer's side, patted Kael Davenport's head, and then said to Rosalind, "The little guy and I reached an understanding a while ago."
Rosalind Lowell's face was filled with confusion. 'What kind of understanding?'
After that, he took Crystal in his arms. "Eve, sweetie, he really is your papa."
Crystal looked toward Alaric Davenport, and their eyes met. He had always dreamed of having an adorable daughter. Now, this lovely, beautiful little girl was truly his, and it felt like a dream.
Opal gestured for her to let Alaric Davenport hold her. Alaric also reached out his arms, and Crystal finally extended her own hand. "Papa."
