Just then, she saw a message from Alaric Davenport asking her to send him her location so he could come over.
Delighted, Rosalind Lowell immediately sent him the address.
She breathed a sigh of relief and looked up, only to find that the children who had been playing just there were gone.
Rosalind Lowell's heart sank. She immediately called Alaric Davenport and said anxiously, "Alaric, they were just playing right there. I only looked down for a moment to message you, and now the kids are gone."
"Hold on. I had bodyguards following you. I'll ask them. Don't panic." Alaric Davenport's voice was calm, not sounding worried in the least.
But she knew he couldn't afford to panic. If he panicked, she would be even more frantic. His calm reminder about the bodyguards put her slightly at ease.
