"Someone deliberately attacked the system used by our family and the Lockwood Family. It kept crashing, and money was stolen from the accounts linked to it."
"What? Is it that serious?"
"But it's fine. We didn't lose everything. We had measures in place to prevent this sort of thing, and we've already reported it to the police."
Rosalind Lowell let out a soft sigh. "That's good. Does this mean you won't be able to make it to my show next week?"
"I should be able to make it next week."
Rosalind Lowell hung up the phone. Chloe walked over and embraced her. "That was a truly perfect performance. Thank you."
"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Ms. Chloe."
Chloe smiled at her. "I look forward to your next performance."
Rosalind Lowell gave a slight nod, and Chloe departed.
Many people tried to crowd around her afterward, but they were all stopped by Alaric Davenport's bodyguards. They then slipped out the back.
