"Who knows?" Elsa Ainsworth shrugged, feigning indifference.
Rosalind Lowell grabbed Elsa Ainsworth's hand, worried that she was upset.
"I'm sorry, Rosie. It's your birthday today, and I've ruined the mood."
Rosalind Lowell shook her head. "It's okay. You're not the one who should be apologizing."
Just as Alaric Davenport stood up to handle the situation, Ethan Lockwood came in, pulled Elsa Ainsworth out, and Rosalind Lowell followed behind, holding Alaric Davenport's hand.
Ethan Lockwood said to the woman, "Stop pestering me. I already told you I have a girlfriend."
With that, he hugged Elsa Ainsworth and kissed her right in front of the other woman.
Elsa Ainsworth was still in a state of shock after the kiss. She had never been kissed in front of so many people before. Her face turned bright red with embarrassment, and she hid in Ethan Lockwood's arms.
"I'm not just using her to scare you off. I really like her."
