But it was impossible for Herman Lowell to get his hands on the shares.
"I do have shares in my name, but I have no authority to do anything with them."
Herman Lowell's eyes narrowed slightly. "Then the dividends go into your pocket, too."
Rosalind Lowell drew in a sharp breath. "And what makes you so sure the money actually goes into my pocket, and that my name isn't just on the paperwork?"
This was something Herman Lowell genuinely didn't know. Such matters were private, impossible for him to investigate.
His eyes narrowed as he considered it for a moment. "Go ask him for money for me. The company's in trouble and needs a massive cash injection."
