After saying this, Hero Pei covered his mouth in terror.
WHOOSH!
A leaf silently pierced through the sedan chair, passed through Hero Pei's forehead, and sent a small spray of blood into the air.
The Supervisor twisted another leaf between his fingers.
"So, who was it that said the word 'unlucky'?"
The Martial Knights had never seen anything so bizarre. Iron Maiden included, they all recognized the strangeness of the situation. When Pei Rushi tumbled from his horse, the remaining five all clamped their hands tightly over their mouths and noses.
But as the Supervisor spoke, another person, while covering their mouth and nose, clenched and unclenched their jaw, involuntarily letting a strange "Mmmph-mmmph…" sound escape from between their fingers.
"Honest."
The Supervisor smiled and flicked out another leaf.
Iron Maiden flipped her wrist, shaking out her Nine-Section Whip, just as she was about to block it.
"Don't move. Wouldn't you rather stay alive?"
