"Li Huan." Seeing Li Huan come downstairs, Cheng Beize smiled at the girl walking toward him, his eyes full of tenderness. Ever since becoming sure of his feelings, Cheng Beize had decided to follow his heart. To that end, he had specifically shifted the focus of some of his business to Beijing just so he could see Li Huan more often and hopefully have a chance to pursue her. The more he interacted with Li Huan, the more intense his feelings for her became.
"What brings you here today?" Li Huan asked.
"Your final exams start tomorrow, don't they?" Cheng Beize countered.
"Mhm." Li Huan nodded. She knew Cheng Beize had shifted some of his business from Xiangcheng to Beijing and had been very busy lately. They hadn't had much time to see each other, but hearing him mention the date of her final exams made Li Huan feel a secret thrill at being so important to him.
"This... is for you." Cheng Beize took a small sachet from his pocket and handed it to Li Huan.
