"After that incident with the Pang family last year, your Uncle Wang requested a temporary work transfer. It was partly because he felt he'd lost face, and partly because he didn't want to get tangled up with them any further. He was actually already back during the time you were in Yun Province."
Su Qing had no idea. She'd thought Wang Xuehong hadn't been back to the village for the last six months.
