Lianne didn't know that Ethan Sinclair was planning to attend her graduation ceremony. "He's going?"
Seth Sinclair scrutinized her expression. Her beautiful face was a perfect, unreadable mask. He commanded, "Don't let him go."
Lianne found him unreasonable. "It's not like I can stop him. He has his own two feet."
"Does he want to go, or do you want him to go?" Seth Sinclair pressed, refusing to let it go.
The old Lianne would definitely have wanted Ethan to go.
Perhaps it was a schoolgirl crush, or perhaps it was simple vanity, but she always felt a thrill of happiness whenever Ethan Sinclair appeared. It was especially true when her classmates would praise him, saying her brother was so handsome and charismatic, even better-looking than a movie star.
Lianne stated a fact. "He's been sick lately. His cold keeps coming back, so he might not have time to go."
