She swiped to answer. On the other end of the line, Quinn Preston glanced at the man lounging on the sofa, his own expression unchanging. "Junior, I've got the information on the Red Jade file. When are you free? I'll give it to you in person."
"I'm free anytime. Whatever works for you," Lianne said, her fingers pressing down on the string with unintentional force. The thin string left a white line on her fingertip, which soon turned slightly red and swollen.
God of Fortune, lying at her feet, tugged on the hem of her dress, and only then did she release her hand.
"Tomorrow afternoon. I'll send you the location then," Quinn Preston said.
Lianne blinked and agreed.
After hanging up, she remained in something of a daze.
