Seth Sinclair stared at her, his dark eyes filled with a frosty chill. His voice was hoarse. "I saw."
Lianne was perfectly composed. "Saw what?"
Seth Sinclair didn't answer, just stared at her in silence.
Not waiting for him to reply, Lianne suggested, "You have a place in Veridia City, don't you? Or would you rather a hotel? Do you need me to book one for you?"
Their eyes met.
A moment passed.
Seth Sinclair averted his gaze. His long legs carried him past her, his arm lightly brushing her shoulder as he walked straight out of the suite.
Lianne turned to look. The proud and conceited Mr. Sinclair didn't break his stride, and in a few moments, his figure vanished from her sight.
The young master had appeared out of thin air, and now he'd left just as abruptly.
'Without so much as a word. How weird.'
'Did he just drop by to show his face?'
The sound of the door closing reached her, but Lianne still couldn't figure it out.
