Lianne hadn't yet recovered from their passionate kiss, a hazy mist clouding her gaze. "How did you know I bought some?" she asked, confused.
Seth used his long, slender fingers to brush her hair behind her shoulder. Her hair was dark and smooth, cool to the touch, and he couldn't resist twirling a few strands around his fingertips.
"I saw them when I opened the drawer."
"Why were you randomly opening the drawer?" Lianne's bright, obsidian-like eyes darted toward the nightstand, where she spotted three square boxes on its surface.
Two of them were the ones she had bought. It was obvious who had bought the third.
Worried he might misunderstand, Lianne explained, "I didn't know which kind you preferred, so I bought two."
"I've only ever been with you, so what preference could I possibly have?" Seth pinched her cheek. "Setting another trap for me, are you?"
Lianne wiggled her feet under the covers and denied it. "No."
