Hearing that Ethan Sinclair nearly had a falling out with his family over his one true love, Lianne, well aware that his heart wasn't hers, chose to make a graceful exit.
Unexpectedly, under the lingering moonlight, she spent a tangled night with someone.
The next day at noon, she opened her eyes to find his own younger brother, Seth Sinclair, beside her.
Lianne Lianne sincerely suggested, "You had your fun last night too. Why don't we just part ways amicably?"
"Not done having fun. Can't part." The man had a towel tied loosely around his waist. Droplets of water from his damp bangs trickled down, gliding past his collarbone and disappearing into the towel, exuding a natural sexiness.
The corner of his lip curled into a lazy smile. "Take responsibility for me, Lianne."

At a certain banquet, Lianne felt unwell and left early.
When Ethan Sinclair heard about it, he hastily left his seat and knocked on the door of the lounge.
But inside, Seth Sinclair had forcefully wrapped his arms around Lianne's waist, pressing her flush against the door, and lowered his head to scorch her lips with a kiss, his voice deep and raspy, "Tell him to get lost."

She didn't rush to reply. Instead, she looked up at Seth Sinclair and politely declined, "There's no need to trouble yourself."


Seth Sinclair watched her for a few seconds before looking away, ducking into the driver's seat.


The engine suddenly roared to life in the quiet alley, and the car sped away.


Lianne Lianne stood under a streetlight. While waiting for a taxi, she opened WeChat and replied to Ethan Sinclair: "No, I'm out with Sophie tonight."


Ethan Sinclair: "When will you be back? I can have the driver pick you up."


Lianne Lianne: "No need. I'm not sure when we'll be done."


He didn't write back. Lianne Lianne lowered her gaze to the chat screen, her mind starting to wander.


'Did he ask Mrs. Zimmerman and find out I wasn't home? Or did he go to my place and see I wasn't there?'


Lianne Lianne took a deep breath, forcing herself to stop speculating.
