Liu Lu's face was a picture of humiliation.
Ye Shuiyun had caught him red-handed, and even worse, she had overheard his fantasies about her!
He saw the disappointment, contempt, and disgust on Ye Shuiyun's face.
He knew any chance he might have had with Ye Shuiyun was now gone.
What Liu Lu couldn't understand was why this was happening. His goal was to make Luo Tian lose face in front of Ye Shuiyun. Logically, he had succeeded, and she should have been utterly disappointed in Luo Tian.
Why had Ye Shuiyun come all this way to stand up for Luo Tian?
"Instructor Liu Lu, you colluded with the steward of the Celestial Cloud Restaurant to commit fraud and swindle me out of my money. I will be reporting this matter to the Law Enforcement Institute!"
Ye Shuiyun declared, her face an icy mask.
"Swindle you out of your money?"
Liu Lu was a bit confused.
'But my plan was to set up Luo Tian, wasn't it?'
'Could their relationship have already progressed that far?'
