Along the way, Chen Yuan frequently tried to curry favor with Luo Xiaoting, but she remained cold and aloof.
Soon, the group returned to Chuyang Tower in the Celestial Blade Institute.
Luo Xiaoting and Chen Yuan walked into Luo Tian's classroom, their faces frozen in disbelief.
'Such a cramped classroom, and with only one student inside?'
'What kind of teacher have I ended up with?'
Chen Yuan had thought that since Luo Tian could recruit Luo Xiaoting and Guan Hongfei, he must have other elite students as well.
As it turned out, Luo Tian only had these two students.
'No, wait. Now I've fallen into the same trap.'
"Greetings, Mentor."
Guan Hongfei said respectfully.
Luo Xiaoting sighed and shook her head. Guan Hongfei was handsome and talented, having placed third in the Chuyang Tower assessment, but he wasn't very sharp. He'd been so thoroughly duped by Luo Tian that he was now completely docile.
'Chen Yuan, too, is as dumb as they come.'
