With KK's formidable team now on the case, the investigation into Byron Holt was a godsend for Ivy Holden. She finally had some solid ground to stand on.
Early the next morning, she got ready, picked up some food from the hotel, and went to the hospital to visit Giselle Sterling. She found Kade Sterling sitting outside the room, looking haggard and unshaven. Her heart ached for him. "Uncle," she urged gently, "why don't you go back to the hotel? Take a shower, get something to eat, and then get some real sleep. Let me take over here, okay?"
Kade Sterling glanced at the door to the hospital room and shook his head, unwilling to leave.
Ivy Holden knelt, placing her hands on Kade Sterling's knees. "Uncle," she said softly, "I know how much you're hurting. But if your health fails, who will get justice for my cousin? You can't be counting on Aunt to do it, can you?"
"You're right," Kade Sterling nodded.
