Ivy Holden was grateful for Lily Sullivan's help. She said to Jensen Morrison, "I should go check on Lily."
"They're a married couple, what are you going to do, interrupt them? Let's wait a bit. The auction hasn't started yet, so you should get something to eat first." Jensen Morrison led Ivy Holden through the crowd, heading straight for the long tables laden with all sorts of food.
Ivy Holden was indeed a little hungry, and the sight of a table full of food whetted her appetite.
She grabbed a plate, filled it with her favorite foods, and then found a quiet spot to sit down and eat.
"Well, if it isn't President Holden?" a woman in a royal blue gown said, looking in surprise at Ivy Holden, who was happily gorging herself. "What's wrong with you? Haven't you eaten in days?"
Ivy Holden calmly swallowed a piece of roast meat before raising her eyes to glance at the woman. She sneered, "Leon Summers, you're here to join the fun too?"
