Everyone was drawn in by the delicious food and fine wine, and they all got busy.
Jensen Morrison led Ivy Holden to a relatively quiet spot to sit down. Moments later, someone brought them two meals, both featuring flavors and dishes that Ivy liked.
"Here, eat something first." Jensen picked up a Longjing shrimp with his chopsticks and placed it on Ivy's plate.
"You eat too. These short ribs smell amazing." Ivy was indeed hungry, so she picked up her chopsticks and started eating.
"Then eat up." Jensen put two more pieces of short rib on her plate.
Ivy was worried that Chanel Morrison didn't have any friends here, so she scanned the crowd while she ate.
"What are you looking at? Focus on your food." Jensen added some green vegetables to her plate.
"I have to take care of the new CFO. I'm counting on her to make money for me, you know."
"That Sylvia?" Jensen glanced at Chanel, who was surrounded by several executives making conversation.
