Carson Holden hung up the phone, his expression grim. He turned and cursed under his breath.
"Dad, what's wrong? Is there a contract termination fee?" Ivy Holden asked in a low voice.
"The termination fee is no big deal, but they won't agree! I'll call the association president in a bit…" Carson Holden said angrily.
"Uncle Holden, you can't pull out," Jensen Morrison interrupted.
"Jensen, you're here?" Seeing Jensen Morrison, Carson Holden's anger subsided a little.
"If you don't participate in the music festival, it will cause outsiders to speculate about the Holden, Zimmers, Morrison, and Sterling families. They'll quickly figure out the Sterlings are in trouble, which will affect the Silas Conglomerate's stock price. It would be like dragging your Sterling relatives down." Jensen Morrison lowered his voice as he laid out the pros and cons for Carson.
Carson Holden frowned. "But I can't just leave Ivy here alone to look after the old madam."
