Jensen Morrison watched the three of them slowly approach in a small boat, then put his phone away and started picking tender lotus leaves.
The camera crew followed them in another boat, and the lotus pond suddenly became lively.
"Can we eat this lotus pod yet?" Ivy Holden asked, crouching at the bow of the boat.
"It's still a little young, but it's perfect. It won't be bitter," Jenna Chambers said. She had picked and tasted a few yesterday.
Ivy Holden saw a large lotus pod and, tempted, reached out to pick it.
However, the boat was moving a little too fast, and the lotus stem was surprisingly tough. When she yanked on it, the pod didn't break off. Instead, she was pulled forward, stumbling and nearly falling into the water.
"Careful!" Jensen Morrison's expression changed.
"Hah! I'm definitely going to pick this thing now." Ivy Holden glanced at her reddened hand, then stood up and moved toward the stern.
