The lunch was incredibly lavish. For six adults and one child, they had two pots going.
One pot was simmering mushrooms, sliced beef, shrimp balls, and various vegetables in a hot pot base; the other was stewing a whole roasted fish with vegetables.
"Wow! So much yummy food!" Milly exclaimed, clapping her hands as she gazed at the table laden with dishes. "This is awesome!"
Ivy Holden glanced at Jensen Morrison and smiled. "How did I never realize kids could be this cute before?"
"You were very cute when you were little, too," Jensen Morrison said, patting the back of Ivy Holden's head.
Ivy Holden shook her head with a look of mock disgust and frowned. "You're messing up my hair!"
Watching the two of them, Lynette Yates smiled. "You two get along so well as siblings."
"Of course. After all, we eat out of the same pot," Ivy Holden said with a smile.
"Meat," Jensen Morrison said, scooping a spoonful of beef into Ivy Holden's bowl. He then asked, "Want some chili oil?"
