The production team of Taste of Hometown had already received word that Ivy Holden was coming.
In fact, after the project was acquired by Trion, Director Liz Zane saw a glimmer of hope. Knowing that Ivy Holden would be rushing over overnight after finishing up with Song of Time, she decided to halt all daytime filming and start recording directly with dinner. The theme for this episode was also changed from "three meals a day" to "a late-night snack."
When Ivy Holden's car arrived at the bed-and-breakfast parking lot in Oakhaven, the staff hurried forward to greet them.
Phoebe Buck got out first, followed by Ivy Holden, who hopped out of the car wearing a denim jumper and a white blouse. At the same time, Bill Holden and a few security guards moved to surround her.
"Master Eden! Welcome!" a staff member said, presenting Ivy Holden with a bouquet of tulips.
