Ivy Holden was already awake when Irving Jacobs returned to the room with breakfast.
"You're up? Today's breakfast includes that brown sugar and chestnut congee you like," Irving Jacobs said as she set out the food.
"Did they say what the schedule is for this morning?" Ivy Holden asked, sitting down at the table.
"Assistant Director Lynn Chapman sent me a message. We're going over the script this morning, with shooting this afternoon and into the night. It's going to be a long day, so you need to eat well."
"Okay, let's eat together," Ivy Holden said.
Irving Jacobs sat down across from Ivy Holden, looking like she wanted to say something but was hesitating.
"Just say what's on your mind. Ask what you want to ask." Ivy Holden could see right through President Irving.
"Last night…"
"Nothing happened last night. It was all a misunderstanding."
"You don't like him, do you?"
"No."
