Brooke Morrison was even more decisive. She had her special assistant, Maeve Mayfield, rent apartment 1502 in Jensen Morrison's building and hired a live-in cook with both culinary and pastry certifications to cook exclusively for the two of them.
Diana Dunn arrived at Jensen Morrison's apartment carrying a stack of files. After she'd been ringing the doorbell for a while, the door across the hall opened instead.
"Huh? Don't you live over here?" Diana asked, pointing at the door to Jensen Morrison's apartment.
"I stay over here sometimes, too." Jensen Morrison reached out, took the files, and showed no intention of letting Diana come inside.
But this was Diana Dunn. She didn't need an invitation. She simply pushed past Jensen and let herself in.
