Liucang County. Before its capital city, a Cyan Dragon arrived.
The massive dragon coiled through the sea of clouds, its head visible but not its tail. Whether viewed from afar or up close, it was like a living myth.
Liucang County bordered the Xuecang River. The Dragon Race, under the Court's jurisdiction, performed Cloud Formation and Rainfall. As a result, the local populace had a custom of revering and worshipping Dragon Gods.
However, much like the ancient tale of Ye Gong, who loved dragons only in drawings, people today were no different.
When the Divine Dragon was deep beneath the water or enshrined within a temple, it was a Divine Spirit, an ideal. But if it left the water and came ashore, was it still a god?
It would transform from a god into a demon!
Knees buckled, one after another, as people dropped to the ground. The common folk didn't know if they were kneeling out of reverence or fear.
