"Uh, Hah'Er, why don't you eat first?" When Hah'Er brought over the freshly grilled lamb skewers, Shen Yibin and Jian Jian felt a bit embarrassed. Hah'Er had been working so hard and hadn't eaten anything yet, while the two of them had at least had a taste.
"Go on, you eat. I'm going to grab a couple of beers." Barbecue just had to be paired with beer. Ever since Hah'Er had arrived, he'd been so careful; when would he have had time to go out for skewers and beer? Now that the opportunity presented itself, he had to indulge.
"GLUG, GLUG... Ahhh! Perfect!" The ice-cold beer washed away any greasy feeling. He let out a burp, and it felt like every cell in his body was sighing with relief. Shen Yibin melted into his reclining chair, so comfortable he didn't want to lift a single finger.
"Hmm?" Hah'Er craned its neck over curiously, looking at the beer Shen Yibin was drinking. Jian Jian sidled up beside it. "What's that you're drinking? It seems pretty good."
