Shengqing saw that Su Yu was still frowning, and he felt a pang of jealousy.
But he couldn't stand seeing her constantly on edge over that tiger. Such strong emotional swings weren't good for her.
Shengqing set down the fruit slices he had been cutting, walked over, and pulled Su Yu into his lap on the stone bench. His long, cool fingertips gently brushed over her brows. "Yu Yu, if you keep caring so much about that tiger, I'm going to be unhappy."
Su Yu caught his hand in mock reproach. "What are you talking about? It's not just Xun Yu I care about. I care about all of you."
"If something happened to any of you, I'd be just as worried and anxious."
Shengqing took her small, delicate hand in his and brought it to his lips for a kiss. "I'm not that tiger. I won't ever give you a reason to worry."
