Shengqing gently covered Su Yu's ears and shot Shi Wei a cold glare. Without a moment's hesitation, he hurled a Thunder Ball at him.
Shi Wei didn't even try to dodge. A Fireball materialized before him in the blink of an eye. With a loud BANG, it collided with the Thunder Ball and instantly neutralized it.
The tremendous noise startled awake the three wolf pups sleeping soundly in their grassy nest.
Su Ting groggily lifted his little head and called out in a tiny, sleepy voice, "Father?"
Shi Wei replied flatly, "It's nothing. Your father, Shengqing, is having one of his fits. Go back to sleep."
Su Ting let out a small whimper, stuck his little bottom in the air, and flopped back onto his brother, falling asleep again.
Shengqing's lips twitched. He ignored the spazzy wolf and carried Su Yu over to the grassy nest, carefully laying her down.
The three wolf pups smelled their Amu's scent and groggily tried to snuggle closer to sleep beside Su Yu.
