They followed the food cart at a leisurely pace, all the way until it stopped at the area inside the city where residents set up their stalls.

Yu An started to boil water, Han Li took out the packaging boxes, and Ao Wu set out the sign showing the types of dumplings and their prices.
A few bolder Beastmen sidled over to take a look. "Dumplings? What are those?"
"They look like food. One silver coin per serving… Hiss, that's so expensive!"
The onlooking Beastmen were murmuring amongst themselves, but Yu An paid them no mind. Once the water boiled, she dropped a few dumplings of each of the four fillings into the pot.
Before long, the dumplings were cooked.
Served steaming in a bowl, a faint wheat aroma filled the air. The surrounding Beastmen caught a whiff, and their mouths couldn't help but water.
Yu An broke open a dumpling with her chopsticks, and the scent of meat mixed with vegetables swept powerfully through the area.
