The words had barely left his mouth when Shi Li flicked him on the forehead.
"Just watch my competition. When I've taken care of everything, I'll come back and tell you whether I'm being sincere." Shi Li strolled away with a flourish, leaving Jensen staring at her back, still in a daze.
"What took you so long? I was starting to think you wouldn't dare show up," Ai Wei said, not bothering with pleasantries.
Even though the attendants had already tried to warn Ai Wei just how formidable Shi Li was, Ai Wei still hadn't taken it to heart.
"Why wouldn't I dare?"
"I'm pretty brave. You, on the other hand, try not to be the one crying when this is over." Shi Li accepted Ai Wei's challenge, not about to let her off the hook.
After the incident at the military barracks, Shi Li decided she wasn't going to hide her abilities anymore.
Stepping into the public eye was her best option now.
She never wanted to face that kind of frustrating powerlessness again.
