"Ugh! Why are you still tormenting me when you're supposed to be applying my medicine!" The ointment, wrapped around a roll of gauze, was shoved inside rather unceremoniously.
Shi Li let out a muffled groan and instinctively tried to curl up, but Shi Zhiyan held her down.
"I told you earlier. If I insert it, the medicine will be more effective, and you'll heal faster."
"Just bear with it for a moment." The corner of Shi Zhiyan's mouth twitched, and from Shi Li's point of view, it looked like he was trying to suppress a laugh.
Shi Li pouted and kicked Shi Zhiyan right in the chest.
Her ankle, however, was caught in a firm grip.
Although Shi Zhiyan took the kick squarely, his expression wasn't one of pain. Instead, he looked pleased.
"So? Continue?" Shi Zhiyan joked with a smile, earning only an eye-roll from Shi Li.
"But how long does this have to stay in? This feels so strange." Shi Li blushed, looking embarrassed.
It was indeed a rather strange sensation.
