Everyone agreed and spread out to look for clues, but they didn't go too far from each other.
They stayed close enough that a single shout could bring everyone together.
This gave them a sense of security. If any sudden danger appeared, they'd at least be able to alert each other.
And sure enough, on the top floor, they found a large, extra iron gate.
"Oh no, was your guess right?" Qiong'an said in shock. 'Are the boys and girls really in the same building?'
'The boys live on the top floor, separated from the girls' dorm by a big iron gate, and they have their own dorm supervisor up here?'
And just as they suspected, they saw a room closest to the gate with a single bed inside, just like the dorm matron's room by the main entrance on the first floor.
Everyone exchanged glances and shared the potentially useful clues they had just found.
It was, in fact, a normal public school, but it ranked very low among high schools—you could even say it was at the bottom.
