"You don't look like you rested well. Are you okay?" Qiong'an looked at Shi Li with concern.
Shi Li really should have rested by herself yesterday to get a better night's sleep. But when Jensen took the initiative, she didn't refuse, so the rest of them couldn't very well say anything.
So, Shi Li's current exhaustion was to be expected.
Shi Li waved her hand dismissively. Now wasn't the time for such pointless questions.
'She'd been put through the wringer yesterday. Her mind and mouth were no longer under her control, but Jensen still hadn't thought it was enough.'
It had gotten to the point where even now, Shi Li was deliberately using Qiong'an as a buffer between herself and Jensen.
But Jensen seemed to have kept his promise, not telling anyone else that those two brothers had come over last night.
