"You really just up and left without a word." Jensen cut Shi Li and Qiong'an off right where they parked their flyer.
The moment he saw Shi Li, he swept her into a hug, completely ignoring Qiong'an as if he were just thin air. This greatly displeased Qiong'an, but there was nothing he could do about it.
After all, they had just held their wedding, so Qiong'an was feeling generous enough to be pleasant to just about anyone.
"It was a spur-of-the-moment decision. Don't get so worked up, you're going to break me in half!" Shi Li didn't know whether to laugh or cry as Jensen hugged her right off her feet.
"It feels like you've gotten a lot of your strength back." Despite his over-the-top enthusiasm, Shi Li noticed something had changed.
Jensen hadn't dared to hug her before, but now he did—and even lifted her clear off the ground. He must have been completely confident now.
"I've been working hard on my recovery training. I feel a lot better now."
