If there was enough corn for him to plant in April, he wouldn't have to worry so much about food when the 4,000 slaves arrived in the future.
'New fields need to be cleared,' Leech thought to himself. 'To feed more people, I'll have to expand the scale of winemaking, textiles, honey production, and so on.'
