Although she was the one asking, he couldn't help but be pleased by her initiative. A smile touched his lips as he gently kissed hers.
"The barracks are filled with Beastmen. Military discipline is strict, but I can't guarantee there aren't any dissidents. You're so beautiful, and you have no way to protect yourself. If you just show up out of the blue, you'll definitely be snatched and hidden away."
"At that point, even I might not be able to find you. So, I'm going to disguise you a little."
Hearing this, she looked at him curiously and asked, "A disguise?"
'What kind of disguise?'
"Mm-hmm."
Jun Yao hummed in affirmation.
And so, a few minutes later, an unremarkable, short Beastman appeared.
They had a pair of drab, gray beast ears and a dusty, splotchy face. Their slender, delicate frame, however, stood ramrod straight—a posture completely at odds with such a face.
"Do I have to look like this?"
She frowned, looking at the face in the mirror with disgust.
