And that was indeed Mo Ling's guess...
The Elders had created this Healing Space to cure these strange black spheres. They probably already knew about the spheres' properties.
However, Mo Ling still wasn't sure of their specific healing methods.
"Xi, I think I know where the Elders are."
Mo Ling looked up at the sky. To heal these black spheres, one would have to keep them "fixed" in place. And to do that, one would need to find a suitable "observation point."
And that position was...
"Xi, I'm going up into the sky to check. You guys protect yourselves, and remember to shut off your senses when you need to."
"Senior, be careful," Xi said worriedly, reaching out her hand.
"Okay," Mo Ling replied, then shot up into the sky without a backward glance.
He flew farther and farther from the black earth. Soon, the figures of the healers below grew smaller and smaller, until they disappeared from sight.
'As long as I fly high enough, I should be able to see all the black spheres.'
