Aria Sterling didn't wake up until Julian Grant was carrying her out of the car at the Sterlings' front gate. She blushed instantly when she saw him holding her.
"Julian, put me down."
Julian paused for a moment, then complied and set her down right at the Sterlings' front door.
"Alright, I'm going in. You should get back and rest. Thank you for keeping me company." Aria thanked him, but Julian's expression soured.
"Don't say 'thank you' to me anymore." He didn't like her being so formal with him.
Only when he saw Aria nod did he bid her a satisfied farewell and leave.
The moment Aria stepped inside, she saw an unfamiliar figure sitting on the sofa.
Miles Sterling was the first to react when he saw Aria come home.
"Aria, you're back?" Miles was clearly delighted to see her.
The young woman sitting beside Miles Sterling stood up as well, beaming at Aria. "Sister's back."
Aria looked from Miles to the young woman in confusion.
