They had barely exchanged a few words when the sound of steady footsteps approached from outside.
Sure enough, Adrian Sinclair walked in the next moment. His expression stiffened when he saw Aria Sterling, but he quickly composed himself.
Lynn Sinclair stood up, rushed over to give him a hug, and nuzzled his shoulder affectionately. "Big bro, I missed you so much! You have to have dinner with me tonight, okay?"
Adrian Sinclair patted her cheek, his eyes filled with doting affection. "I know. I'll have the kitchen make your favorite squirrel-shaped mandarin fish."
"Thanks, big bro!"
Aria Sterling watched from the side, her expression calm.
Lynn Sinclair glanced toward Aria Sterling, then tugged on Adrian Sinclair's arm. "Bro, this is Sterling. She's been waiting for you for a long time. You two can talk business. I'll get going now."
As she spoke, she winked at Aria Sterling, who returned the gesture with a smile.
