Aria Sterling tiptoed to the bathroom door, wanting to see if anyone was inside. Just then, the door was yanked open. Damian Xavier stood there wrapped in a towel. The fruity scent of his body wash, mixed with a billow of hot steam, rushed toward her, making her dizzy for a moment.
She subconsciously took a step back and squinted at Damian Xavier, but he didn't even glance at her. He just walked out of the bathroom and straight to the closet to change.
Aria Sterling frowned and turned around. "I accidentally put my phone on silent earlier, so..."
"Go shower and change. I'll give you twenty minutes," Damian Xavier interrupted her, his voice flat.
Confused by his foul mood, Aria Sterling asked, "Are we going out?"
"Mrs. Kinney's birthday banquet."
She said, "Oh," and immediately went into the bathroom. She quickly finished her shower and came out to change into a formal gown.
