The next day at noon, just as Aria Sterling finished up a document, Julian Grant arrived at her office with two police officers.
"Julian, what is this...?" Aria Sterling was a little stunned.
Julian Grant smiled at her. "Weren't you supposed to go to the station to give a statement? I was worried it would be too much trouble for you, so I brought the officers here directly."
Only then did Aria Sterling remember that she had indeed called the police. She had just been so busy all morning that she had completely forgotten about giving a statement.
"Thank you, Julian."
After showing the two officers to their seats, they began to question Aria Sterling.
"Miss Sterling, have you had a falling-out with anyone recently? Did the kidnappers reveal who was behind it?" one of the officers asked Aria Sterling seriously.
Aria Sterling looked at him and slowly voiced her suspicions about Mya Walsh.
