As for what ultimately became of the Elf God, the answer was quite simple. The new Moon God, having inherited the previous one's legacy memories, used those memories to return to that micro-plane and retrieve the Sun Divine Position. After confirming there was nothing else of value there, the new Moon God returned and used this Sun Divine Position to seal the gravely wounded Elf God.
The Sun God's Divine Position was of the same tier as the Elf God's, so it could be used as the material to seal him. And once the Elf God was gravely wounded and had fallen into a deep slumber, he could no longer perceive changes in the outside world. Therefore, even as he was being sealed, he remained completely oblivious.
