On the walls of the Neutral Elf City, the Elf Elders were still frantic. After all, the enemy's Forbidden Curse Spell was nearly complete, and even now, they hadn't come up with a single solution.
"What are we going to do?"
"Are we supposed to just stand here and wait for death?"
"But even if we tried to escape, we're surrounded on all four sides by the Elf Corps. Where could we possibly run?"
The hearts of these Elf Elders, standing atop the Neutral Elf City's walls, were in utter turmoil, but they were utterly powerless. In fact, they now regretted their decision to even mount the city walls.
If we hadn't come up to the walls, we wouldn't have to see the enemy Elf Mage Corps' Combined Spellcasting. We could remain ignorant of our inevitable doom, couldn't we?
Such self-deceiving thoughts had started to surface, but no matter what they thought, it was useless.
