Mitra covered her mouth and chuckled, her movements elegant and natural. The sound sent a slight tremor through her body, her chest swaying in mesmerizing ripples.
"Mr. Horant, you're so amusing."
"Is… Is that so?" Horant was taken aback. He straightened his collar, cleared his throat, and said, "Lady Mitra, I was wondering if you are free this evening?"
"Of course."
"Then I'd like to invite you to the Central City…"
"I'm sorry," Mitra said, gently raising a hand and holding a single, delicate finger up before his eyes. "Mr. Horant, until we have a result concerning that item, I cannot leave this place."
Horant gave a dry laugh and said, "I've already had Yemolete take some men to search for it. There should be a result soon… But I'm not sure if anyone else has been there…"
