Anenep muttered under his breath, watching the number of figures in the conference room steadily increase.
"Four times? Or five?" Boras leaned back in his chair, waving his Golden Staff as he used a special form of Magic to send directives to Legendary Mages in other locations. "Geniuses are always like this. Wasn't I the same back in the day?"
"You?"

Anenep turned his head away, grinding his teeth. He clearly had no desire to comment on that statement.
"Vice Chairman Boras, what is it this time?" a spectral projection asked as it appeared in the conference room, its tone tinged with displeasure. "My research has reached a critical stage. I'd rather not be disturbed over trivial matters."
