Jiang Zheyu and Su Yan rode back in a self-driving Hovercar.
Inside the Hovercar, they sat facing each other.
"Yu Yu, where did you go today?" Su Yan asked, sitting across from her. His short red hair was slightly disheveled, tousled by the evening wind while he'd been searching for her. A faint, barely noticeable sheen of sweat beaded on his forehead.
He had searched all the places a female might visit, even the ones where she might look for a job, but no one had seen any sign of Jiang Zheyu.
The only reason Su Yan had found her was because Feng Qi had sent him her location.
Although Feng Qi hadn't included a message, Su Yan knew. His Yu Yu had to be at the location Feng Qi sent.
Now, his red eyes were fixed on her, calm on the surface but hiding a surging torrent of emotion—like the placid face of the deep sea, masking turbulent currents below.
